The Lily Pad will be offering a set of curated road maps at launch. In general, these will be learning paths, filled and ordered with content believed to compose a successful path towards a goal members can follow.
Road maps will be comprised of three primary milestones - beginner, intermediate and advanced - and will have themes such as "Blockchain", "Frontend", "JavaScript". This will allow members to choose a road map, and track their progress along a 'curriculum' of sorts. In addition to this ability to track ones progress, these road maps will award completion accolades for a member's at each milestone as well as total completion.
Accessible through a member's profile, these will serve to afford users the ability to build their own custom road maps by selecting portal content to insert within each milestone. These will not award accolades upon completion (with exception of accolades tied to the individual pieces of content themselves).
Personal Road Maps will be shareable, should members have success with a map they've built. We intend for there to be a process by which the most popular community road maps may be added to our official list of curated maps.
